Amid the situation when President of Russia Vladimir Putin, legislative and executive bodies give special consideration to demographic issues, the experience and best practice of “Sanctity of Motherhood” programme are valuable like never before.

In 2017 the Russian society will focus on the tragic events that took place in 1917.

The Foundation of St. Andrew the First-Called implemented plenty of projects aimed at healing the wounds that our society suffered from because of revolutions followed by the Civil War. One of the brightest events was the sea voyage to visit .locations where our compatriots were staying as they had to abandon their Fatherland as a result of the fratricidal war. During the commemorative sea voyage descendants of the emigrants of the first wave and our compatriots who grew up in the Soviet Union were discussing reasons and consequences of the tragedy of 1917; they wrote and authorized the memorandum “Never Again!” which urged not to let the tragic century-old events ever happen again.
