Metropolitan Hilarion go for pilgrimage trip around Russia
Metropolitan Hilarion who is in charge of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia will have a pilgrimage tour to visit sacred Russian places. The pilgrimage will be conducted from July 8 to July 25.
The time of the trip coincides with 100th anniversary of the Revolution and the 10th anniversary of reunion with the Moscow Patriarchate, reported the press-service of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.
A delegation with believers with Metropolitan Hilarion in charge will come to worship saint places in Moscow, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Ryazan, Murom and Crimea. There are plans to visit the Trinity Lavra of St.Sergius, the Monastery of Optina and Vyshensky Monastery.
