Presidents of Russia, Serbia and Belorussia sent their welcome words to address the participants of The VII Forum of “Sanctity of Motherhood” Program in order to emphasize the significance of the topic for discussion.
The idea that the family support is the topic directly related to life itself was presented in all the addresses. The address from Russian President Vladimir Putin was conveyed by Natalia Yakunina, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of “Sanctity of Motherhood” program.
- “I believe the topic of the Forum is important and fully corresponds to the consistent policy we pursue in our country. As family is the keystone for everything. It is one’s family and family environment where a person gets the basic idea of the world, develops one’s personal traits along with moral and spiritual values. Therefore, it is of great importance to raise the young generation following the values of a large, friendly family with many children, where they care for other fellow-beings, children and parents. It is important to create favorable conditions for professional, creative self-fulfillment of young people and of course it is significant to pay particular attention to healthcare development, support provided for young families to have children, for motherhood and childhood. I am sure that the intensive agenda of the Forum, participation of renowned experts in sociology, philosophy and culture will make it possible to have profound discussions regarding the current tendencies, to share best practices and useful ideas and that your meeting will help establish more humanitarian contacts, strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between our fraternal countries, nations” – were the words in the address.
Milanka Karić, founder and Honorary Chairperson of the Karić Foundation, deputy of Narodna Skupshtina of the Republic of Serbia, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Serbia, professional lawyer and humanitarian, conveyed the address from President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić. He intended to attend the Forum but he had to change the plans due to urgent matters.
Milanka Karić told that after the previous forum in Minsk, in Serbia they gathered people – teachers and experts – who were interested in support and care for families. Later it resulted in the current Forum in Belgrade and the allocated money for increasing the birth rate.
Valery Kovalkov, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Care of the Republic of Belarus, presented the greeting words from President of Belorussia Alexander Lukashenko to address the Forum participants.
- “The topic of the Forum is in alignment with the national policy Belorussia pursues in the demographic sphere” – said Valery Kovalkov. He told that it was not a random decision of the country to support families and facilitate increasing birth rate: Belorussia has over 15% of people who are over 60 years old, so by 2039 there will be over 20% of them.
- “That is why the Forum’s topic is extremely important” – concluded Valery Kovalkov. “We would like to thank the Foundation of Saint Andrew the First-Called, the Karić Foundation and the Serbian government for organization of this event.”
