Youth methodological seminar aimed at support in organization of cultural and educational camps in Russian regions

The Interregional youth methodological seminar is aimed at facilitation of the organization of cultural and educational camps in regions. It is held in Pskov. The Interregional public fund "Centre of National Glory" is the organizer of the seminar.

Representatives of youth public organizations, higher institutions and youth committees take part in the seminar.

The goal of the event is to form youth initiatives in the field of cultural and historical education, development of creative and civil activity of the youth. During the seminar participants should learn the best practice and methods of organization of youth cultural and educational actions dedicated to important events in the Russian history. Young people develop their communication skills, learn and perfect technologies of building youth projects, exchange experience related to holding events in their regions.

During the joint work new projects appear. They are prepared by participants of the seminar and presented to the expert group when the seminar is over.
In 2015 the core topics of the seminar were the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and announcement of the year 2015 as the Year of Literature according to the Order of President of Russia. As of the result of the meeting of the expert group the following projects were presented:

  • the festival of readers "The Book of Victory" aimed at learning the writing of poets and war-veteran writers as well as formation and the following publishing of their works;
  • decoration of history and local lore classrooms with portraits of outstanding commanders and war heroes who were born in Russian regions;
  • creation of the single electronic book of soldiers of the Red army who were called to arms from this or that region, as well as people working at home front and living war veterans.
