Since 2007 the Foundation of St. Andrew the First-Called is the main organizer of the Conference «Philosophy. Science. Religion» held in Dubna. The partners of the Foundation are the United Institute of Nuclear Research, the Moscow Spiritual Academy and the Moscow State University named after M.Lomonosov.
The background of the conference dates back to 1960s when the first regular meetings of philosophers and physicists were held in Dubna to discuss the main ontological issues. In 1990s this tradition was continued by the Conference "Science. Philosophy. Religion".
After seven years of break, at the initiative of the Foundation of St. Andrew the First-Called and the Centre of National Glory the Conference was held again in 2007. The goal of the conference is to develop the mutual understanding and dialogue between representatives of scientific, philosophical and religious science as well as elimination of stereotypical ideas about contradictions between science and religion.
